Happy Walloweve!! (okay, it's a little late...man it took me a while to get this up! However, good way to celebrate the dvd release, yes?)

The bf and I decided to have some fun being interpretive of the style of the characters from our faaaavorite pixar flick! (The idea was sparked by the work of a few deviants on here, mainly the work of b1nd1.) Seriously, this was THE most fun I've EVER had putting together costumes, and my first time doing anything remotely cosplay related. Good times...

Our main goals were twofold:
1. Be as accurate as possible.
2. Spend as little money as possible.

Unfortunately we didn't plan terribly far in advance, so no time to sew stuff. But a lot of the details were hand-painted and/or designed by us. Wootuh!

Those costumes are great! You two totally look like Wall-E and Eve if they were people. x3

That's soo cute! I had the same idea... Unfortunately, I had no Wall-E to go with me, but I did have plenty of time to work on it so I think I made do all right: [link]

Prof. Farnsworth: When you create a parallel universe, it's almost always populated by evil twins.

Bart: I'm not a nerd, I'm a jock who's too cool for sports!

Washington: (after grenade sticks to wall) That... was the worst throw ever. Of all time.

Same here, actually. Our WALL-E turned out kinda crap, but the EVE and MO turned out pretty well, I like to think. Almost nobody recognized us, but it was worth it for the one person who did.

That is a frickin' AMAZING WALL-E outfit, though, back on-topic. How exactly did you go about getting all the lines so even and clean? The jacket almost looks sewn.
:iconashbuhdash:
Ooh, nice work! I'm glad to see a MO too. :) We had the same problem with only three or four people recognizing us. Why haven't more people seen this incredible movie??

The jacket was a lucky thrift-store find. It was all beige when we got it, and then I just painted by hand. The areas that I could follow the seams were the easiest to get straight, and the other ones just require a steady hand. Putting all my college painting classes to use, haha.

Yes! You look so perfect for it...and who could resist the plushie Walle? :D
